Named after French writer Boris Vian, this is a spacious place, with comfortable sofas and artsy chairs during the days, but it’s often packed at night. Bay windows let in summer breezes from the square. Different art work is featured on display monthly. Ambience is informal 1950s avant garde. Try the sandwiches, salads, and finely prepared coffee. Plenty of outside table space on Sat afternoon. I found the sandwiches huge, well prepared, and fresh. They don’t skimp on the quality. Generally pretty good English makes the evening that much better.
